What can I expect from the experience?
The Paradox Museum is an innovative venue that combines the world of science, art, and human perception. With over 70 amazing, paradox-inspired exhibits, we are a museum that offers more mind-twisting, eye-tricking experiences than any other edutainment destination in the world! You will learn about the exciting science behind paradoxes, have a ton of fun, and take photos so spectacular that your friends won't believe they're real.
Where is the museum located?
The central location at Hötorget makes it easy to find your way to Paradox Museum Stockholm, which is right in the heart of Stockholm. If you come by subway, get off at the station Hötorget and take the escalators up towards exit Sergelgatan. You will find us straight ahead, right next to Pressbyrån. You can also enter via Sergelgatan 20 or Sveavägen 17, through a large glasshouse between Hötorgsskrapa 1 & 2. Once inside, stairs leading down to the museum are directly on the right-hand side.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The experience takes place in an indoor venue.
How long does the experience last?
You can expect to be in the museum for about 80 minutes.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Snacks and drinks are available to purchase from the gift shop upon exiting the museum. However, we do not allow any food or drink within the museum space.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes! The Paradox Museum Boutique is full of souvenirs, games, clothing, accessories, and gadgets that ooze paradox! You can enter the shop without paying an entrance fee.
Return & exchanges of products from the Paradox Museum Boutique?
You have the right to return or exchange your purchase within 14 days after your purchase. Please note that you cannot return or exchange discounted products. If you don't live in Stockholm and cannot return it in-store, you can send it by mail. The buyer is responsible for return shipping, and returns or exchanges will only be accepted for products in unopened condition.
ABOUT TICKETS
Where can I get tickets?
You can buy tickets online here. You can also purchase tickets in the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes, of course. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets here or in the Fever App.
Do children need to pay for a ticket?
Children under 4 years old can enter the museum for free.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App or by showing your tickets via your phone.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.
Can I make a group booking?
Yes, absolutely! Learn more about group visits here.
Can I rebook tickets I have already purchased?
Yes, you can easily find a new time for your visit. If you have bought tickets through a reseller (Get Your Guide, Tiqets, etc.), you need to contact their customer service to rebook or make other changes.
Can I host an event at the Paradox Museum?

Do you offer press passes?
If you are interested in writing about us, you may request a press pass by emailing [email protected]. Please note that press passes are only available on weekdays, not weekends.
Where can I purchase Zero Gravity add-on?
You can purchase the Zero Gravity Room on a secondary screen after selecting your tickets. Please be advised that the Zero Gravity Room may cause sensations of unbalance, dizziness, nausea, or vertigo. For your safety, this experience is not suitable for guests under the age of 5, individuals who have recently undergone surgery, those with back or neck problems, people with high blood pressure, or pregnant guests.
ABOUT ACCESS TO THE EVENT
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
Yes, it is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket to ensure no delay or extended waiting time. Depending on the museum's current capacity, you may be allowed to enter slightly after your scheduled time, but this could involve a short wait until space becomes available.
Is the museum accessible for people with functional variations?
Yes, almost all paradoxes and exhibits are available. Are you coming with a wheelchair? Sergelgatan 20 or Sveavägen 17 is our address, unfortunately there is no public lift here. In order to get down to the subway level where the museum is located, our staff needs to know about it in advance in order to be able to offer a lift down to the subway level. They will then come and meet you. If you arrive in a wheelchair, send us an email with your booking reference and request wheelchair assistance. Or by indicating it on the secondary screen after purchasing your ticket. RWC is located inside the museum. Accompanying companion? Guide and signal dogs as well as assistance dogs with working vests are welcome at the museum. We need to know about this in advance so that we can plan the visit in the best way. Companions join free of charge (show companion certificate).
Are there any restrictions?
For hygiene reasons, eating and drinking are not permitted in the exhibit area. And although we love animals, pets are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding.
Will there be strobe lights?
Some of our exhibits contain lighting that may trigger individuals with photosensitivity. We also have guides with npf competence. For people with npf or hearing loss, there is the possibility to adapt the visit by turning off music and sound effects. This is something that you can report at the entrance before the start of the visit.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walkthrough experience, so there won't be any seating available.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, there are restrooms at the museum.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Absolutely! Many of the exhibits are intentionally photographic, giving visitors the opportunity to take amazing photos or videos. Don't forget to tag us @stockholm.paradoxmuseum
Is there a Lost & Found?
Yes, we store lost and found items for approx. 14 days.
Is there a cloakroom available?
Yes, smaller lockers are available. There is also space to hang outerwear at the entrance. Please note that the museum is not responsible for items left at the reception.
Is there an age requirement?
All ages are welcome! Visitors 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that there is limited space for prams.
Will there be an audio guide?
Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide; however, each exhibit has a QR code that links to detailed information about its history and the science behind the paradox. Guests can scan the QR code with their phones.
Are prams allowed?
The museum space is accessible for a few prams/strollers and limited pram storage is available at the entrance.
